Hey there, we’re Jason and Cheryl, and we’d like to introduce you to our little bundle of joy, Buru.
Now, you might be wondering who Buru is – well, he’s not your typical baby. Buru is our beloved Bichon Poo, and he’s the reason we started this adventure called PawsNewbie.
You see, we’re that millennial couple who decided that fur babies were our calling. While some couples are navigating the world of diapers and baby strollers, we were diving headfirst into the world of puppy parenthood. And let us tell you, it’s been quite the ride!
Buru came into our lives when he was just a tiny, fluffy ball of cuteness at two months old. As we held him in our arms, we were hit with a sudden realization – we knew absolutely nothing about raising a puppy!
Sure, we had some experience with dogs, having rescued and stayed with 3 amazing furry friends in the past. But nothing quite prepared us for the challenges and joys that come with a fragile, teething, and ever-growing little pupper.
We understand the frustrations that you are going through – the sleepless nights, the chewed-up shoes, the endless potty training accidents. We’ve been there, fumbling through the early days of training, learning as we went. And you know what? We wouldn’t change a thing about it.
Fast forward to today, and our little Buru is now 9 months old. Looking back on the journey we’ve been on, we wished there was a blog, a guide, something that would have shown us the A to Z of handling a puppy – from those first adorable puppy zoomies to the challenges of teething. And that’s exactly why PawsNewbie was born.
PawsNewbie is our way of sharing what we’ve learned along the way, the ups and the downs, and everything in between. It’s a place where newbie puppy parents like us can find guidance, advice, and maybe a good laugh or two as we navigate the pawsitive chaos of puppyhood.
